The Denver Home Show returns this year and will be held March 24-26 at the National Western Complex. This will be our 7th year in a row attending–and we’d love to see you there! A home show is a marketplace where contractors, architects, landscapers, and designers gather to showcase their services and meet with homeowners. It’s an excellent opportunity to find inspiration and connect with local industry experts ready to give great advice.
The Denver Home Show is one of the largest home shows in Colorado, with more than 400 exhibitions to explore, featuring landscaping companies, remodeling contractors, interior design companies, etc., special sweepstakes, and the Annual Sogetsu Colorado Ikebana Show.

Why Should You Attend a Home Show?
1. You’re overwhelmed with your home projects
Completely understandable. We all have those moments where we don’t know where to start, but don’t worry! This is the time to research and look at new emerging trends in remodeling to help you determine what will work best for your house, whether you plan to live there, sell it, or rent it.
Here are some ideas to keep in mind when exploring booths for inspiration:

- Explore product samples to get a feel before you commit

Prices can run up quickly in a remodeling project if you don’t know where to source quality products at reasonable prices. This event is the ultimate destination for purchasing appliances, ordering remodeling supplies, and rendering services on a budget.
At home shows, contractors will typically bring samples so you can get a good idea of the prices for different styles of cabinets, windows, and doors. Make sure to ask contractors about tips and tricks for projects you’re working on. They may have a special discount for you or point you to someone who does. Attending the home show can only be beneficial because you’re saving time and money searching for the perfect contractor when everyone is under the same roof. Contractors (like individuals) have different personalities and mindsets. Use your time at the show to find the right one to collaborate with who has your best interests (and budget) in mind. The relationship between homeowner and contractor is usually a long one; pick a contractor you enjoy interacting with. It’s not just a job but a partnership.

- What challenges do you anticipate with this kind of project?
- How do you resolve disagreements?
- How do you handle unforeseen challenges?
- What type of insurance do you carry?
- What is the estimated price for the project?
- Can you provide a list of past client referrals?
- What is your estimated timeline for completion?
- How do your designers handle the design stage of the project?
